Our inaugural relay will be a team-based run between Lansing and Ann Arbor on August 19, 2023.  Course details will be announced as the route and exchanged points are finalized.  We encourage teams of five, but you are welcome to have more (or less runners).  If you have more than five runners, each runner will run fewer total miles.  If you have less than five runners, your runners will run extra miles.  Teams and participants will be raising vital funds to support the American Cancer Society, through research and patient services.  Teams can decide which leg(s) each runner will run, and we will have pre-determined exchange points, where one runner will be able to start and another team member can stop.  Each team is required to have one team member running at all times. In order to finish the event inside the course time limit, teams will be expected to maintain at least an average pace of 11:30 per mile.  This pace recommendation will be updated once we have the final route and total distance.
